Sante Segato (Salbaneo) si dedica a tempo pieno alla ceramica dagli anni '70,  sperimentando fin da subito l’alta temperatura (1280°) con il gres prima e, in seguito, con la porcellana. Dal 1982 partecipa a mostre e concorsi e collabora con artisti e designer nella realizzazione di prototipi e produzioni di piccole serie. La sua attività di ceramista "curioso" si esprime in una produzione che spazia dal design pulito di oggetti d'uso, alle  piccole sculture dalla vena ironica , così come ai cuchi  (i fischietti veneti ), esaltando vuoi la compattezza del refrattario, vuoi la leggerezza della porcellana.


Sante Segato (Salbaneo) deals with ceramic art since the 1970s, experimenting right away the high temperature (1280 °) with stoneware and, later, with porcelain. Since 1982 he has participated in exhibitions and competitions, besides the collaboration with artists and designers in the production of prototypes and small series. His activity as a "curious" ceramist is expressed in a production that ranges from the clean design of everyday objects, to small sculptures with an ironic vein (including the ceramic whistles), exalting the compactness of the refractory or the lightness of the porcelain.
