Ivana Martic è nata a Novi Sad (Serbia), dove ha studiato e conseguito il Master all''Accademia di Belle Arti. Ha lavorato come redattore capo della rivista di interni Moj stan, collegata alla tedesca Wohnen und Dekorieren. Ora vive e lavora a Belgrado. Il frequentare la falegnameria di famiglia ha certamente influito nel suo rapporto con il legno, da anni materiale al centro della sua ricerca nel campo del gioiello contemporaneo. Per le sue collane, a marchio Tota Art Forms, predilige legni come il noce, il frassino, la rosa, il pioppo e il rovere, che combina tra loro con forme semplici e geometriche e linee definite, creando contrasti bilanciati e texture naturali.
Ivana Martic was born in Novi Sad (Serbia), where she studied and earned a Master's degree from the Academy of Fine Arts. She worked as editor-in-chief of the interior magazine Moj stan, linked to the German Wohnen und Dekorieren. She lives and works in Belgrade. The frequenting of family carpentry certainly influenced her relationship with wood, which for years is at the center of her research in the field of contemporary jewelery. For her necklaces, under the Tota Art Forms brand, she uses woods like walnut, ash, rose, poplar and oak, which combines with simple geometric shapes and defined lines, creating balanced contrasts and natural textures.
